VMware is soon going to become broadcom. One doubt
Can we give OA (online test) rounds and interviews using beoadcoms device ? Or will I be caught? Broadcom people please answer it.
Frankly, that's VMware device right now. Second, if you want to leave, broadcom can only wish that happen smoothly. There is zero reason to force someone in broadcom. At least in my BU, our problem is people getting rich and retire early. On the other hand, the one who left behind do like what they are doing.
Its a generic problem in all BUs. Broadcom senior guys outside of bay area are getting too rich and retiring.
Were you having a stroke writing this? I get if you don’t have your own machine your hands are tied, but you have a tech salary and can’t afford even a basic computer to run through meet/teams/zoom and LC? Why don’t you use your own machine instead of adding unnecessary risk? TC or GTFO.
Broadcom India employees potentially retiring before their 40's. Most of them making 10 years salary in 1 year. This is situation is more or less similar anywhere outside Bay Area where Broadcom is not top payer.
How much are they making in india for icb5 ?
I heard they are making 2-3 crore TC easily for icb5+
Is it a good time to join Brcm considering the stock is already so high ?
It will go higher if it successfully buys VMware. VMware is a cash cow that will be used to pay even nicer broadcom dividends. This will further drive up the stock price
That’s a big if, 0.33 chance at this point given the delays, lack of communication, geopolitics and the AVGO stock price rising. I hope it goes through, but it’s not looking very likely.
