Considering purchasing a Lennar house at the Bridgeway Newark area. Would like to know experience of people already been living there or people who are considering moving there What do you think about the locality, marshland, safety, flood zone and future of the community and that area in general TC: 300K
Have been to the community quite few times as a friend lives there. He seems to be liking it there. Locality is good, all new homes with parks and club house. Houses are very close by but sadly that’s how builders are building in the Bay Area these days. If some house comes up on the market in this community, it goes away immediately, also all the houses have been sold out by the builder pretty fast. The community is no longer in flood zone as the land was raised by Lennar and FEMA reassessment of the sold lots no longer considers them under the flood zone. There is a big public park coming up adjacent to the community. There is no retail currently but it will be coming up in few years in one of the big open lots as per city plan. Construction work seems to have started there. Public school ratings are not good yet, Street parking is hard to find, area gets windy and chilly in winters, community is pretty active with so many sub groups for based on interests. Overall seems like a decent community and checks most of the boxes for first time home buyers in the Bay Area.
Other than Newark not being a good school district and the HOA being assholes sometimes, I’m loving it here.
