Sounds and looks awesome from the outside. Can anyone provide insights on what's it's like to work at Nintendo in the Redmond office?
Nintendo was an amazing company it changed the world and we all had better childhoods because of it, but their tech didn’t keep up and they can’t hold on to a legacy forever
It's full of shit people and legacy tech.
Sounds like a big disappointment :(
I started there not too long ago and I personally like it but really depends what you are looking for. If your a FANG jumper for salary boosts, probably not the best. Salaries are less than FANG. But most areas rarely work more than 40h. People are generally nice and more laid back. Also most final decisions are made in Japan which often means good ideas get blocked at home base.
Thanks for sharing.
My uncle works at Nintendo. He showed me how to get the 152 Pokémon in the original version
You'll get to work on the cutting edge of cardboard related technology.

From my understanding there isn’t much money to be made
Yeah I heard the base salary cap for a senior is around 140K. The cap for mid-level is around 110K. There is no equity grants but there is a modest cash bonus yearly.
That is correct for sw engineers
