I think the title pretty much says it all, but here's a bit more about me: TC - 150k, YOE - 6.5 Was really great at my job (promoted 3 levels in first 2.5 years @ major bank). Then my department shut down. New role had awful leadership. I got jaded. At 4.25 year mark, I left for another company that's an absolute dumpster fire, so I could try a startup on the side with a few friends. We did alright, but covid kind of screwed whatever small shot we had at success (it was tech for restaurants who just wanted to keepb their doors open not test out stuff). Shut that down by summer 2020. Spent last 1.5 years coasting because I haven't really had learning/growth opportunities in my current role. I've also been failing interviews over that time period because I didn't prep enough. Lastly, I had some personal things come up that temporarily impacted my work. Now: my personal stuff has resolved, and I've done the prep I need to crush interviews. As practice, I've been passing tough interviews at great companies where I don't actually want to work (MBB, Deloitte, EY, top banks, etc.). I'm finally ready to get my $#!Γ· together and enjoy/be good at my job again. I have BS and MS in eng. (electrical) but have always worked in analytics. I want to combine those with analytics in tech. Currently interviewing with Meta, Amazon, Coinbase, and a few others, but Google has always kind of been a target company for me. Anybody want to help a brother out?
