Hello blinders, So a few months back I left my then current company, during a project critical time I must add. My then current manager wasn’t able to match my new tc so I left in two weeks. Everything was fine. We exchanged pleasantries. And things like you are always welcome back and if you need anything don’t hesitate to contact me here’s my number. You will need a skills letter contact me then I will just sign it. Blah blah blah… I was responsible for many things and I tried to KT as much as possible but I don’t know how much that went through. I m sure current status of the project is very behind. Fast forward to current date, my new company is trying to apply for my perm and asks for my skills letter. I write a mail to my ex manager. No response. Another mail. No response. I called him. No response. I texted him. I have read receipts but no response. A couple weeks later I looped in the hr and the HR business partner. No response from anyone!!!! Another email. No response At this point I m very frustrated. I mean how can the HR not respond?! I m considering doing one of the following. If you think none of them are appropriate please comment your suggestion. If you’re a lawyer and can help me sue this company and it’s HR. Please DM me. #Immigration #h1b #greencard #perm #workvisa
Contact HR for company. If they don't respond call the HR.
HR isn’t responding! Call the HR?
Call them over phone. If that doesn't do email the head of HR.
If you know anyone in your previous company, just ask them to go to HR desk or email HR to assist with this. This work most of the time.
Suing would not work. Get an affidavit from an ex-co worker. Name and shame the manager in LI
You can get a colleague to sign an affidavit stating he/she worked with you in the said timeframe. That should suffice.
Affidavit like from a notary?
So the problem is I worked on multiple things with multiple teams. It’s hard for one person to confirm all things I worked on
