How much would Verizon pay for a Principal Engineer Position ? What would be the Base and Bonus ?
Can range from 🗑️ to 🥜
Band 6 8 yoe with VZ with peanuts base 98k Help me get out lol
Same here 6V YOE 10 and Base is 98 I too need help.. 🤕🤕
I guess I’m not alone. I’m looking to GTFO.
Yoe?
Principal at VZ is no where near what a Principal is at an actual tech company. I was a Principal making 98k. I was on the super low end. But Principals can go up to 150-160, then you hit DMTS band
I got PE offer long time back(2015), 195K + 20% bonus. Location was Southern California
You don’t get to Verizon or any utility company to make a living or get top pay and etc …. You go to Verizon to Rest and Vest and retire ! Stress level is 0. No PIP. Lunch breaks. Coffee breaks in basking ridge office. Run side businesses, rentals and stack up 401k, good health insurance and raise a family … Basically you go there to die or gradually transitioning to life after retirement… or to get H1b/green card If you are young ambitious individual, you are at a wrong spot.
I beg to differ - I was RIF’d in 2020 due to Covid. No warning (ie focus plan).
RIF is different from PIP or Focus. Also when they RIF you they give you the opportunity to look within Verizon. I worked for Verizon for 3 years in basking ridge and I know their policies really well. I was a Sr. Manager and people leader before I left.
Hi! Can anybody @ Verizon provide referral for a director role?
Base range 120-180k + 20% STI (bonus) in TX
Plus 10k rsu per year for band 6
