It would be helpful if you can say which city, yoe etc ?
Cary, NC and 5 YOE. The internal title is Sr Eng Network Assurance, there was a big discrepancy in title between ext posting and what offer said.
this offer is same as mts iii 90k base who works 45 hrs a week at home which overtime is included for 47 weeks of the year.. Sorry the title does not appear to be much boost. 10 percent bonus is not guaranteed now... basing my answer from my W2s, which was 65k, then 89k, 90k, 89k 94k, 94k, 108k from base 65k, 68k, 70k 84k 86k 90k 93k.... my happiness is less and less each year
Care to shed some light on the $70k > $84k jump in base? Promo + annual raise?
Yes, the tc finally was under market value. HR is major decision maker of promotions. It's easier to get promotion via lateral move.
I love how everyone here acts like there’s any rhyme or reason to the shit storm of Verizon titles and associated pay. As if anyone could keep up with all the stupid bull shit of bands, adding cslt to a title, how whatever comes after the titles hyphen could be related to more or less pay. It’s all a joke, quit acting like this guys pay wasn’t just pulled out of someone’s ass on Friday afternoon.
You will come to know only when needful
Yeah. I couldn't either. I do have -spec after mine. But for some reason I do feel whats the point of promotion to cslt when I can just get ot easily.
Aaaand the position was canceled.
Sorry to see that. I had internal applications cancelled couple of times. Hope you find something better. From what I see, market appears still to be hot for job seekers.
Smts isn’t a band 7
