How are the personal trainers, the crowd and the group classes ? Is it better than Equinox ? The membership cost is $139 + taxes per month. TC: 220k #gym
I think at that TC id pick Lifetime over equinox unless one is a gold digga. The classes are really good at Equinox and the VIP environment but go for Lifetime. Lifetime personal trainers are expensive so your best bet is a local gym with group workout.
Screw you guys... I’m going to Gold’s!
no, check out bellevue club. Lifetime doesnt even have a pool
139/month is not high in Bellevue. Even Proclub (which is far from a high class club/gym) costs more.
ProClub is more like what an Asian middle-aged SAH MSFT wife imagines is high class. Not that it's bad but it is what it is
Lifetime in LA is trying to charge me $199
Lifetime NYC checking in here at $250/month
What do you like about it ? Are the group classes fun ?
Crunch fitness in Bellevue used to be 10-15$ per month.
Even the website doesn't work. Is it any good ? What's the personal trainer fees ?
10-15$ is the gym membership charge. It's a cheap functional gym if you want a place to workout on your own, no fuss. I haven't worked with a personal trainer there. Slightly off topic, I did work with a personal trainer in LA fitness and that cost me 60$ per hour or so (not even a full hour, more like 45 minutes). This was 4 years ago. I am assuming it will be more expensive now.
$250 a month, and no pool & parking. They must have automated weights, I won't have to lift a finger to lift them.
I prefer PRO Club in Bellevue. Lifetime here is nowhere near as nice as the one I left when I moved here. Even the Lifetime where I was before said this one is not good. It's tiny -- so small I wouldn't even consider transferring my membership, nor did they think I should. I've been going to the gym for 30 years and have used a bunch of them. PRO Club is great.
Do they waive the $800 membership initiation fee ?
It was never an issue for me, since Microsoft paid for my membership, so I don't know what they would require that way. I do know they didn't require me to pay it when I left MSFT and transferred to myself responsibility for the monthly fee. I also know the initiation fee was $600 for a family at that time, and that was verified very recently.
