Expecting a SWE 2 offer from Intuit soon. In interview loop with Amazon and GitHub. Moving from lcol to Mountain View. What numbers should I target? Any negotiation tips from experts out there? Is 220 K too much to ask for TC? #swe

Anywhere from 180k-210k is a normal offer for MTV. Out of band is rare now apparently

Look on levels.fyi. Should expect around $140K base with RSUs and yearly bonuses placing you close to $200k TC
Thanks. I saw similar position on careers page listed as 120 - 170 range. What makes them offer the high range of base?
It’s $140 -145k base, people who are putting $155k and more for the base are also adding the sign-on bonus most likely when they shouldn’t be. Anything less than $138k is SWE 1 (they are usually at $120-125K base)
Whatever they offer, don't take it.
