Virtual physical therapist Hinge Health lays off 10% of its workforce
nine-year-old company that offers a digital solution to treat chronic musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, cut approximately 10% of its workforce on Thursday, TechCrunch has exclusively learned. The company said people who were laid off worked across various functions; according to employees posting on LinkedIn, some were engineers. Have they been laying off any of the direct patient care staff? (PT’s, health coaches, etc.) or any talk of that happening down the line?
All contractors laid off. Mostly latam devs. Some of them were the top commiters on some repos.
Damn. I kept seeing their non tech roles on LinkedIn with super high base salaries. Good thing I didn’t get an interview lol
