Hi Folks I am having interviews with Visa for a role in Foster City CA. The team is Identity Management, I am really interested in this and would like to get some insights about the team and what to prepare for the interview. I have been doing LC and System Design, but the HR is telling me that there is one round for Systems(C/C++), I am not sure why C/C++. I have no experience in C/C++. Is it really required C/C++, the JD never mentioned this. I am really interested in this position and any help for Visa engineers would be really very helpful. #engineering #software #swe #visa TC: 140K
hows TC for mid/senior level 5yoe in VISA Foster City?
I thought VISA is java factory like PayPal. Following ..
Not worth it
I would suggest you look into other employers. Visa is one of the worse companies in the bay from pay to benefits to overall challenging nature of work. It's where your career goes to it's final resting place
@designGuru..Did you finally get the offer ? Can you provide some more details about the interview questions?

BREAKING: Internal sources confirm another round of layoffs just hit emails at Tesla. For real.
If you've been doing LC you should be fine. Expect about 3 medium questions. Not sure why the recruiter said C/C++ but java is where we're at and make sure you know what you're taking about and past projects.
Thanks.. how is Visa in general doing?
I think they're on track to become a trillion dollar company by 2025 so that's quite well. Covid lowered the financial numbers but that's expected from almost all companies. We didn't have layoffs because they were able to reprioritize budget. Some new projects, mostly existing projects, and tech is still old lol
