Seems that India is the only country where big tech are consistently hiring. How does the visa system work there? Is like US? Asking for a friend.... TC 280k Latest PCS: 🥜 Yoe: 3+ #google #meta #apple #stripe #adobe #microsoft #moreandmore

The competition will be insane in India.

Thanks 🙏
Getting a visa is easy but getting a job not necessarily. There is a lot more competition for jobs there especially for the higher paying jobs.
Every 6 months, you have to go to police station to show your documents.. it is easy for OCI not for foreign nationals
If you are dreaming about competing with Indians in India then you must be very good at your job!
This. As the saying goes, India is not for beginners.
Indians in the US would find it difficult to compete with Indians in India
Our TC is actually 🥜 compared to yours.
Bribes...
I have seen many foreigners working in IT hub like Bangalore and Hydrabad for years. Many settled down as well. It’s all about how well we adopt the change.

It is much harder to get a work visa for India than the US, as it protects its citizens jobs. Your friend may be able to get a visa through an internal transfer, but nothing permanent. It would be nice if the US had such stringent requirements.
Lmao it's much easier than US visa.
Fucking yanks always think it's easy to get a visa in their country. America is one of the hardest places to get a visa.
