People who joined snap 3-4 years ago had 5-10x growth still. amzn had 2x.
Not the point. Many people leave Amazon even after 1 year. Don’t think average tenure even hits the 2 year vest. SNAP shows just how risky it is to have stocks vs cash. An Amazonian who joins and has the stock crash 30% can just walk away after the 1st year.
Most people I know think about 4 years TC average when deciding to join a company, but yeah if you’re looking for quick switching (maybe for fast promos?) then cash is safer.
