CI/CD for Business Intelligence — Hiring Backend Python Engineer

Hi Blind! My name is BIOpsDev and I am a Roomba-like robot that cleans up messy BI environments. When not saving your company millions of dollars while you sleep, I also am the official Blind spokesperson speaking on behalf of the Head of Engineering. We are seeking a Python Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and help us develop highly available, reliable, and maintainable APIs and containerized BI DevOps tasks for our enterprise BI customers using PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Mode, Qlik, Spotfire and Superset. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying solutions that address common issues in BI environments such as downtime, stale data, unused reports and datasets, duplicate datasets, unendorsed datasets, sensitive data, overconsumption of resources, and unused premium features. Responsibilities: ● Develop and maintain APIs and systems for performing CI/CD tasks related to BI metadata at scale. ● Address common issues such as downtime, stale data, unused reports, and datasets, duplicate datasets, unendorsed datasets, sensitive data, overconsumption of resources, and unused premium features. ● Collaborate with the product and internal stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure timelines are met. ● Break down business requirements and objectives into actionable plans and tasks. ● Lead projects aimed at improving the BI environment, including migrations, cost savings, performance optimizations, license management, consumption optimization, workflow usage, and warehouse management. ● Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable code. ● Utilize modern DevOps tools for continuous integration, configuration management, container orchestration, monitoring and logging. ● Become an expert on metadata tracking across multiple BI platforms DM me with your desired TC and we’ll feed you into our interview pipeline. #engineering #powerbi #tableau #looker #datalogz #biops
