Expecting an offer soon, but I’m concerned about their comp structure being almost all base salary. Does that mean no IPO in the near future. Also see some concerning reviews about constant layoffs, pivoting, and attrition. Can someone from Tanium please help give more information.
Comp structure is base + RSU instead of base + bonus + RSU. Used to have a bonus but everyone had their on-target bonus rolled into base salary last year. No thoughts on IPO, wish it would be soon but given the lack of need for funding this is not the best economic climate to do so.
Would not expect an IPO until markets recover. Once they do I think we will go after it quickly. Bonus being rolled into base is actually a good thing, but equity comp is not incredible to my knowledge.
To add to what the other posters said: Both attrition and layoffs have been minimal in eng org at least. Can't speak to others. I really like it here, wish there was a bigger % of comp in RSU's but it turned out to be a great time to have cash comp with the broader market 🤷♂️
No annual comp evaluation (no raises and refreshers suck)

Avoid tanium … when a company tries so hard to be in “best place to work” it’s always a bad sign Absolutely no work recognition
I interviewed once with them, in my opinion I was highly qualified for the position but they dismissed me after the first screening, not sure what the reason was I thought I had went well, I got a negative perception of the company after that but I admit is a very subjective opinion.
