Have an onsite coming up for Plaid, would love to know if anyone has been through the loop recently and can share any details. There is a 90 min coding round, 1 hour architecture, and 1 hour "All Around Engineering" interviews. Curious as to how the 90 min round differs from the first 2 hour round (more practical than LC but some algo components), if there are any nuances for the system design interview, any particular thing Plaid leans towards in the behavioral interview. Also what are the supposed "spikes" Plaid is looking for? YOE: 2.5 TC:300K #Plaid #softwareengineer #interview #onsite-interview

Can I ask whether you are laid off by meta? Otherwise leaving meta for plaid is a huge downstep, in almost anything, compensation, scope, tech stack, career growth.
yup laid off a while ago
Is it really a downstep even if interviewing for L+1?
