So got an offer from Service Titan for engineering manager position. Wondering how the company is doing, is there any near term chance for IPO, how is work life balance and is there any exciting tech? Base 200k, remote, small sign in bonus and RSUs. Basically on base it does not make sense, wondering if their RSUs worth anything
How much RSUs did you get? Are you in lcol? Congrats!
ST tends to start with a low offer. I recommend to negotiate hard.
Do you mind if I DM you? Have a few questions about WLB etc
OP, have you accepted the offer? Hows the interview? If you joined, hows it? Whats the culture.
Did you get a call from then too?
Yes and you?
Amyone sharing offer detail?

RSUs seems unusual for a private company. The company is big enough, they could theoretically pop any day. It's all up to the founders / VCs I suppose. My buddy just became Eng Director there, I guess you'd report to him. Based on his enthusiasm + the product + others I've known there, I'd say it's a solid safe company. They make big money and there is a lot of inertia with their customers. I would be highly confident that you could sell your shares or options within 5 years.
Do your reviews remain same? Did you hear anything else from your buddy? Heard they became toxic now. I have an EM interview shortly and wondering whats happening/current culture.
My friend is happy there, building his team, but of course if he saw problems there he wouldn't talk about it publicly, at least not until he left.
