Liberals have ruined EVs by creating a resentment among conservatives
I have 2 Master degrees, inclusive of one in Business Analytics from Cal State and 14 years of international experience in fashion retail management (omni channel). There were interviews with Amazon Fashion, TikTok Shop, Walmart Fashion, Ebay, Meta, but none resulted in offer letter. Most of the companies hold no feedback policy. I've already tried everything. I always apply via referral, reaching out directly to recruiter and HM. There is zero motivation, somehow I get out of bed in the morning, if I do 1 application per day, I am feel proud of myself. I'm tired of this repetitive process, the same thing every day, and I'm tired of offering myself right and left. I've already talked to a therapist about this. I am soon to submit EAD application, and then clock will start ticking (I have F-1 visa and student OPT 12+24 months) Maybe someone has an advice, maybe someone is in the same situation..How do you not give up? How do you maintain motivation level high? Maybe someone works in these companies/business units..Maybe you can help with referrals for Walmart, Stitchfix, shein, tiktok, amazon, revolve, Nordstrom, Neiman, Macy's, Target etc. Thanks in advance!
Try contract jobs or non tech jobs
Applying full time, contract, and even internships by now
I worked at MacD for 2 years, before Amazon. If you can, try that?
Need to do a job related to business analytics to get OPT. Cant just get any job. How did u move from MacD to Amazon?
Vanguard tc is pretty low but why not give us a shot :)?
ahhhh you don’t want A job, you want one of THE jobs. that’s your problem right there .. stop being picky. apply to EVERYTHING - you should be submitting 10-30 applications a day. applying should be your full time job right now. something will eventually stick
+1
I am applying to whatever is relevant to my bg. For whatever reason its easier for me to attract bigger company interest. From smaller ones, I just get rejections a few times a day without even an initial interview. Probably half of them aren't sponsoring, thats why.
If you can barely fill out an application then that lack of motivation is likely showing in interviews.
You need a coach. There is something you are not doing right. Every time I have gotten into a rut and I get a coach, they show me things I had no idea were waving red flags at an interviewer. One was talking way too much in an interview (just a personal example. Your issues might be different). Do you have a video up on your LinkedIn? You are definitely employable, but most likely you need help reinventing yourself.
@ByteDance who are those coaches? How do you find them?
DM me for referral.
Go to those recruitment agencies they'll find you a job
This, Aerotek or similar. Just get a contract position.
I am applying and following up whenever there is suitable role.
