Expects me to join on a call. And then goes on to humiliate me in front of my colleagues and an executive about something I did when her requirements were absolutely wrong in first place. In order to save her reputation she targeted me in the call and put all the blame on me. I couldnât tolerate this BS and I couldnât control my anger. After the meeting she calls me 1:1 and tells me I was being inappropriate and rude. I told her that she isnât a good manager and I donât respect her. Now Iâm afraid Iâm going to lose my job tomorrow and havenât gotten proper sleep. Why are some people so miserable and have absolutely no empathy.
I don't know why you'd tell your manager that regardless of the situation. Start applying.
It happened multiple times in the past too. Couldnât control anymore
Dont pick her call
If you think they gonna fire you, then you do the rage quit. But either way start applying.
Sometimes you just gotta say f u there are other jobs. Was your manager Indian?
Yeah
Checks out hahahahahaha
Name and shame her once you move out of the company
Iâm going to ruin her life
Careful with defamation
Good luck OP. Learn controlling anger and start applying as soon as you face similar situations in the future.
Your manager is in the wrong, but setting strict boundaries around your time and dignity ahead of time will always yield better outcomes for your career and mental health than waiting until things boil over. Changing jobs is probably for the best, but this is a valuable learning experience.
Saturday? What hellhole is this
How could she possibly call you on a weekend? Were you oncall?
Just a shitty startup culture. Thereâs no on-call thing here. They ping/call you whenever they want
Why would they even have your personal phone? And why would you answer? And when Iâm asking, Iâm just being an ass - neither of these should be the case. Change your #, keep it to yourself.
Sorry OP good luck to you.
Thank you. They just f*ckinh tested my patience đ
