Wish capsule hotels were more popular here. They are awesome for working people in Japan who are too lazy to travel home.
Even the capsules would be $70+ after taxes in NYC.
NYC does have capsule hotels, but they aren't cheap.

Look up Pod hotels (a bit behind a capsule) and Sleep Station. Prices vary.
If in NYC just live in deep Brooklyn or queens and commute in on the days you need to be in office? The commute from Coney Island or Bay Ridge for example is only 1 hour
