More bite the dust https://patch.com/new-york/midtown-nyc/amp/31460358/peloton-announces-new-midtown-layoffs
This article doesn’t even include the real ones that happened this week
Yeah I can’t find any info but seems like over 100 layoff posts on LinkedIn with more popping up
it seems like there’s maybe 20 posts tops, anyone have any real info on this?
This company has expensive useless products. Why would you want a home gym with a subscription. You can literally pay 10/20 bucks a month for a regular gym with far more equipments
The classes are great, and the bike is high quality. Don’t have to drive anywhere. Toss in some dumb bells and a bench, maybe a kettlebell and baby you’re making a stew.
The product is nice but the company can’t stop burning money. Not sure what they need to do
Any gym in bay area is crowded. I have bigger space at home for Yoga/Biking. But 45/month is expensive l, 20ish is better price.
Are engineers getting laid off or only other roles?
Yes we had engineers and even VPs let go
which department is impacted the most at Peloton ?
How’d the severance compare to the first round?
These are Sr. Manager, Director, VP & SVP level departures, no rank and file engineers. No idea what the severance looks like, but should be good, considering the levels. This is Peloton keeping pace with general flattening of the engineering org across the valley.
today only I have call w/ recruiter
That’s shocking
