Just saw WISH trending on Yahoo Finance - had never heard of them but decided to do some DD. The new leadership team looks solid and they brought an accounting guy to fix the irresponsible cash burn. Sorry to the people affected by the layoffs. Hopefully people can give referrals below. How do you feel about the turnaround? Cash burn is not their main problem, it's decreasing sales after people have crap experience with it getting junk
Well that results in cash burn because they need to buy revenue. However, it looks like they are trying to address that.

New management came from G and such, why would they board a sinking ship if they do not believe there is value?
They were all directors who were promoted to c level. That is a very good deal. Most of the management who joined have seen a 80% decline in their stock value already. If they knew so much they should have known stocks will tank further as well and joined accordingly :)
Where did you read about the layoffs?
Their earnings release. I would imagine they communicated it to employees earlier. They said 15% - about 190 people.

Ex Wish employee was with them for just under 4 years left end of 2021. Wish will continue to be a sinking ship, I left due to the frustrations with old and new management on bringing trust back to our customers. For years they only cared about the merchants never the customer, we treat them very poorly, we never refunded them proactively if purchased misleading or counterfeit goods only if they ever contacted support did we refund but 1000s of silent sufferers. Wish will never win back the customers unless they do a complete 360 degree turnaround and build the trust back with the customers, I tried for close to 2 years to get the leadership to focus on the customers but it fell on death ears, its too late no matter what they do to win back and retain customers
