Facebook phone interview update
I had a great phone interview for SWE ML role at FB on Wednesday 3/11. It was a common leetcode FB tagged question. I finished the coding and walked the interviewer through an example. We had about 5 min left so talked about interviewers work etc. Interviewer told that i will get the feedback in a few days After the interview, i let the recruiter know that i had a great interview and look forward to the next steps. She replied that she will update me once she has the feedback. 2 hour after that, she emailed me asking couple of questions about my current grade level and how big a team i lead. I replied. She acknowleged. Afterwards i have not heard anything back from FB Should i knock them back asking for update? Does asking question about grade etc after the interview mean anything?
Asking those follow ups was a good sign. I really wouldn't worry about it yet. With mandatory WFH I'm sure that they're all a little busier than normal (or slacking) and hiring has slowed. I would wait up until 1 week passes with no response and then touch base. Then another week. So on and so forth.
Things are a little off track with the WFH now. It’s most likely the interviewer hasn’t submitted feedback yet
I have the same experience. Been almost a week and I'm sure I nailed my interview.
