WORST Severance
Does AMAZON qualify for the worst severance package ? Salesforce, Meta, Microsoft were somewhat compassionate Ruthless leadership and insensitive severance adds to the woes

Amazon India severance is pretty decent imo, not sure how it compares to other places tho. I am getting around ~11 months of base pay all things combined. Formula is 4.5 months of base pay + 4.5% of annual base for every year of service (prorated) + 2 months on payroll + unused PTO encashment + (gratuity, if you have served over 5 years I think) L5. ~3.5+ yoe, all at Amazon

What was it?
It’s pretty awesome in India. I am getting 7.5 months of base pay with 3 months of health insurance :)
