FireEye FLARE SWE position
Looking at some job postings on FireEye’s page for a Senior SWE for the FLARE team and wanted to know what it’s like working at FireEye and/or that team. Seeing lots of posts about layoffs and bad management but wanted to know what it’s like on the inside after the breach and if it’s affected the engineering at all. (Also can’t tag FireEye for some reason) #FireEye

FireEye had a first-mover advantage in the sandbox space but was not able to capitalize on it. Look at the newer companies in a similar space, they are doing much better: Zscaler, Crowdstrike, etc. Management really screwed the employees during the IPO and took all the money while many employees lost money.
