There should be no surprise here. Broadcom is ruthless and their ceo is all about running a tight financial operation. Anyone still at VMware is probably hoping to get a good package. Writing has been on the wall for quite some time now. Hope all of you make it through the downsizing.
I read that the package is only 2 months +1 week per year with the company. Not sure if this is correct.
CA WARN of 60 days garden leave then the 2 months plus 1 week per year. Pretty shitty package.
