I had my final interviews 2 weeks ago and radio silence since then. I thought the interviews went well and I have a fair chance of getting an offer. How long does it take for the recruiter to respond to the interview outcome? During the process, I haven't interacted with any recruiter except someone who sent the meeting invites with a note to contact XXXXX recruiter in case of any questions. They never responded to my thank you/follow-up emails. Am I being ghosted? Update: Different recruiter reached out for a manager, automation engineering role in a different team. Apparently hiring manager of the original role recommended me to this. Should I consider this as a reject and have to go through interview process again for a lower level role? Original role was for senior manager TC: 🥜 Yoe: 8 @walmart #Walmart #Hiring #retail #e-commerce
No, it just takes time. Fiscal year ended Jan. 31st so every org is reviewing headcount/budgets. This is not unusual
What could be TC that I can expect? This is for a senior manager in innovation & automation engg.
What location?
They may not come back at all, too many ppl lined up. Overall WMT is a mis managed company, and HR is completely irresponsible here similar to MSFT.
Walmart hiring process is mismanaged.
I've had this experience as well. Worked with 3 different recruiters across 5 different opportunities since December, and at various stages of the process. It's all radio silence. I've followed up three times for the two roles I interviewed for in December, and got some variation of "I'll check in with the team and get back to you this week", which never actually happened. I've accepted it as a rejection, but it would be nice to get closure.
You can expect low ball offer
Even when that would be? I’m just anxious/frustrated that they’re taking too long to respond
You're right.. they're asking to talk about a manager level in a different team.
