Hey all, my offer letter says if I am working at Walmart as of Jan 31st, I will receive my payout on the payout date of March 15th~ So if I leave anytime after that, they will still send it? Has anyone done it? #tech #walmartlabs #walmartglobaltech #bonus
Aww man
You don't have to be employed till pay out date.. only eligibility is employed as of 1/31
Oh this is true? They will actually pay out if you're no longer employed?
Is there anyway I can confirm it without exposing my departure haha
Yes same question here. I can’t delay my departure til mid March i am afraid :/
Did you receive it? I can see my potential pay for the payout date on 3/18/21, but I have not received a check yet.
I don't what in what other language to explain..read your offer letter
My offer letter says you're eligible if you're employed on Jan 31. That doesn't clearly stated you'll actually get the bonus. Just means that if you started working after Jan 31st you'd get no bonus that year and if you started working beforehand you're eligible for a bonus It doesn't say you will receive the bonus even if you leave after that date
Yes it's says eligible if you are employed till 31st. It's performance based and not guaranteed..you get prorated bonus for whole year unless you start after 11/31. All i can is you will receive bonus if you are employed till 31st..
I know multiple people who left jet right after Jan 31 and got their bonus
Do they just direct deposit or mail? How does that work?
Did you get your bonus?
Did anyone confirm getting there bonus after exiting jan 31?
Adding my experience in case it helps anyone in the future. I put in my notice and resigned all in February. I wanted to stay until payout day in march but my new job wanted me to start asap plus I couldn’t stand my job. I got my bonus in the mail via check and they timed it so it came on Thursday on 3/17 when everyone gets their bonus so that was cool. Either way the bonus was nice but it was noticeably less than what I got last year so I think management messed with it and gave me a low rating to reduce my payout. I did quit before I had my evaluation meeting with my boss so not sure if I would have changed the $ amount if I left after my evaluation meeting.
You need to be employed with them to get the payout whenever that happens
Not true. If you are employed till 31st, you are eligible and will get payout
If you leave before payout happens, even then? Eligibility requires ongoing employment afaik
