Hi, My year end appraisal this year might go for toss this year because of some very 'visible' issues my team has faced. Walmart has changed it's ratings this year. Cut them down to 3 ratings. I might get the lowest rating. How would this affect me. How does PIP works in Walmart IDC. Should I be in a different job come next April. Thanks, I almost wrote my name. TC : 8M INR

I have a near same experience. I’m now expecting a 1 even though long term peers are saying they would be shocked if I got a 1.

I dont think PIP is there, i got 2 couple of years back. The bonus gets reduced but otherwise everything was normal

No PIP only your bonus will be impacted
Your Review meeting being bad alone doesn't reflect what rating you will get. It depends on the rest of the team and the "visible" issues you mentioned. It also depends on your yoe and role (ic vs manager). Can you add more details?
