Can anyone at Walmart share details about shuttle service in Bay area? Timing? Routes? Cost, if any? Office location: Sunnyvale Blind tax: 180K TC #travelandtransport #walmartecommerce
There are a bunch of different shuttles so easier to help if I know where you’re coming by from. Overall, the shuttles are free and pretty good. My only complaint is doing the SF to Sunnyvale route is that we lose a decent amount of time having a 15 min stop in San Bruno each way. I’m hoping as more teams locate or hire people into to Sunnyvale, they’ll set up a direct SF to Sunnyvale line. Oh and I believe we have access to all or most of the Google and YouTube busses
Any idea how to leverage Google/YouTube shuttles? Where to board and get off and how can we get the schedule of Google shuttles?
Shuttles are of no cost to you. Many routes. I know of routes from east bay , SF and the North. Exactly one shuttle from each of these locations . Fixed departure time. Generally will originate at a walmart parking lot. Some shuttles are shared with other companies . The SF ones are shared and may not originate at Walmart store locations
The shuttles suck. You basically have to commit to early mornings AND late evenings. Think leave home at 7am and come home after 6pm. Sure it’s free and the network is vast, but it sucks. If you have no other option, then sure take the shuttle…
You can find a list of shuttles on comuteify
