I just joined as a UX Lead and wanted to get some info on how the ux designer culture and life is at Walmart? I’m sure it varies by org but wanted to get any info possible. Tc:260k
YOE? How was they’re hiring/interview process??
10 a it was actually very easy and fast
Good to hear, thx. Are they offering full remote? Or just hybrid
Overall it’s ok but my team is slightly below average. It’s business driven so ppl don’t value UX too much
How is comp and benefits there?
Comp is good actually but I’m in hcol area. For benefits, we got 401k match, 10% off from Walmart and unlimited pto if it’s not a scam lol
What was the base salary offer? Any early thoughts on WLB and culture? Have an interview for a lead role soon. Thanks!

Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
Which dept? Walmart is a huge place and teams vary quite a bit
Cant specify as it’s small but it’s a new branch within Walmart - on the retail side
Then you aren’t likely going to get an answer. Just interview and see what you come across.
