Is it acceptable for a contractor working at Walmart to interview for a full-time employee position for a different project within the company without informing the recruiter about their current contracting role? YOE 5 TC 🥜
Better to inform. Walmart has to pay contracting company some money if the contract duration was within certain months. Recruiters are required to get no objection from Contracting company.
Some companies have agreements not "poach" you for a FTE role. There are certain companies that we simply don't even take resumes from. Double check with your recruiter to make sure you can get hired.

yes. many times I have seen it happening
Whats the impact of not telling
No impact because it’s a contract role. Or else, try converting to full time for that same contract role.
