Is #Walmart in some sort of hiring freeze right now? It's been almost 1.5 months since my final interview and the recruiter swears that leadership hasn't made a decision and nobody has been made an offer for the position yet.
Citizen, here. That was the first question in my very first interview. It's odd because the recruiter was adamant about making sure I knew the job was not filled yet and that and that I'm one of the finalists. 1.5 months and I wonder how anybody can even remember me, let alone the other finalists to make a decision. Relying on a couple scores on paper given long ago? The best I can hope for is my competition already got hired, elsewhere.
Hiring process is slow. When I first got on at Walmart it was over 2 months from final interview to offer.
Wow - that gives me a little comfort. It still blows my mind....... Do they decide the finalist right after the final interview or right before the offer. How can they keep candidates straight for a proper consensus call with so much time in between.

All visa sponsorships are on hold. So if you need sponsorship, they may not release offer.
What's the source of this info? We just hired an Indian to our team and had PERM initiated for a couple of folks on our team
It is a leadership decision and confirmed by leadership in one of the calls . People who are already in payroll will be sponsored, now sponsorship for new hires.
