Walmart labs annual bonus
Walmart labs folks- when should i resign to be still able to get my annual bonus. the payout date is 19 March. shall i resign early and give my last date as 20 March? or only talk about leaving after 19 March?
I would collect it and then leave. Am in the same situation (a diff company) but my offer letter says I have to be employed on the day they pay bonus. I told this to my new employer - Amazon in this case and they are ready to wait as they did not budge on my TC.

Say you got into Amazon on 20 March. They'll give you 2 weeks pay and ask to leave immediately

If one decides to go to a competitor, they want you gone ASAP. They let go of notice period
Just read the offer letter. It says "Salaried Associates must remain employed through January 31st of the fiscal year to be eligible to receive the incentive award."
Eligible, yes. So you quit on February 1. Who is to stop your manager from giving you a 1-2 star rating on the 3rd of February? You get 0% of the bonus in spite of being eligible. In a more rational scenario, you get 30% of the bonus.
Did you leave Walmart before payout and receive your bonus still? Trying to validate this question with someone who actually did it. Thanks! TC: 200k
Adding my experience in case it helps anyone in the future. I put in my notice and resigned all in February. I wanted to stay until payout day in march but my new job wanted me to start asap plus I couldn’t stand my job. I got my bonus in the mail via check and they timed it so it came on Thursday on 3/17 when everyone gets their bonus so that was cool. Either way the bonus was nice but it was noticeably less than what I got last year so I think management messed with it and gave me a low rating to reduce my payout. I did quit before I had my evaluation meeting with my boss so not sure if I would have changed the $ amount if I left after my evaluation meeting.
You can resign anytime after 31st January and you will still get your bonus.
You mean even if I'm out of payroll before March, they will still give me the bonus. How sure are you?
Did you read your original offer? Many companies specify a date you have to be employed to get the bonus.
