If you had to select a stock for potential growth over the next year, would your choice be Walmart or Amazon? #personalfinance #investments
Amazon invented modern slavery, so AMZN.
At least they are paying well. Walmart is cutting entry-level salaries for new joiners. https://www.reuters.com/business/retail-consumer/walmart-cuts-starting-pay-some-new-hires-wsj-2023-09-07/
Yes they pay well for what you need to endure.
Actually a good Q. While Amazon has its hands in many cookie jars, which offers it far more depth than WMT, Walmart caters to poor people — of which there’ll be many, many more over the next year. I’d still go Amazon
As an employee working in Amazon, i feel Amazon is doomed, it has lost its complete focus. There are hardly a couple of businesses that are profit making, while the majority of them are just created for Empire building. I hardly see any innovation. Amazon will be out of top tech soon
Amazon, despite its issues, has better product and dev org. They push while Walmart just tries to be the cheapest
Why does it need to be one or the other? Buy both and split the dollars.

Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
More people are living paycheck to paycheck in the USA. I have a feeling Walmart thrives in high-inflation periods. https://youtu.be/MQSgLJfsepA?si=hvrePNIge_OCc3ek
