Want to leave Cerner but unfortunately my new company cannot do H1 transfer in premium

Desperately want to get out of Cerner got a new job offer but they cannot do H1 premium processing and they are not allowing me to work with H1 receipt. Any suggestions on what to do ? Cannot wait for another 6 months before USCIS accepts premium applications. Tired of working for Cerner unable to focus on work anymore here.

You can join on receipt. There is a risk of doing so. Talk to the company to see what they can do to in case the transfer fails to go through (send to a foreign office etc). Take your decision based on that.

Find another company willing to start on h1 receipt and join them

If that's your only option, accept offer and ask them to file H1 transfer. Since PP is stopped for now, regular transfers usually gets processed much faster, anywhere between 3-4 months vs usual 6-8 months. Meanwhile you can stay with your current employer and keep looking for better offers if you wish.

Do you know this for certain ? Any transfers in the real world that actually just took 3-4 months after PP got suspended ?

I cannot guarantee anything, but it's the pattern. Premium processing though faster is known to clog the system pushing the processing times for regular petitions. In it's absence, regular petitions will be processed in the order they were filed. Basically no one would jump in the queue for a while.

Didn't they know about PP being canceled while speaking with you or giving you an offer? I'm an ex cerner myself but moved out of Pandora a little while ago. Feel free to DM me
