Want to switch to machine learning

I’m mobile developer with 4 years of experience, I see how fast AI is growing and thinking about switching to machine learning, which courses(instead of Coursera) would be the best to start learning it? Thanks in advance for your recommendations#tech#ai #machinelearning #machinelearningengineer

It’s not an easy journey, trust me everyone these days is trying to enter ML AI and we being experienced have to start from the scratch but these new grads are learning these thing in their degree, best of luck

came here to say this. Both the backend swe interns in my team are doing an ML focused cs degree (Statistics/ML heavy electives)

Try to get into ML adjacent teams. Today being in ML may mean a wide variety of things. ML is becoming more and more specialized, meaning there are different folks that work on serving vs modeling vs data massaging vs training infra vs inference optimization. All of these have some overlap with existing swe role profiles. Getting into any of the teams except for eht ones that do hard core modelling shohld not be too difficult.

Wtf why does everyone want ML. LLMs are probably why but most of ML is other stuff
