I currently have an offer from Wayfair for a Sr Manager L4 Role. The base salary they have offered is $120K, $18K performance bonus, & $30K RSUs/Year. Yes, Wayfair does sign on bonus. Max TC is 300-350k depending on RSU price. First, always ask to increase base, max base at L4 is 175k. Next, increase initial RSU grant. Lastly, negotiate sign on.
1) So it sounds like the base salary is somewhat competitive. Do you think asking for $100k in RSUs is fair? 2) What would be the best way to ask for a sign on bonus, and would $10K be a fair amount to ask for?
