I am exploring non-tech opportunities with Wayfair. What are your thoughts about the future prospects of this company?
They kick amazon’s ass in terms of home decor and furniture
Same here. Any idea how their compensation is. Looks terrible on glass door for directors etc.
Base is capped but the equity is not. Glassdoor is just so laughably wrong that it isn't even funny. Have a talk with the recruiter on the pay range.
Thanks. Chatting with recruiting today
Did you get an offer?
Have an on-site next week. Will be interesting to see what they offer. I still don't know the exact position or level
Any updates on this?
They offered 145k base, 15% bonus, and 200k stock. For Boston it wasn't compelling. Great company, but didn't feel right to take lateral to a much higher COL
Interviewing with them now. Did you do a case interview? Was told this was next step. Cases suck.
The case was easy. It was basically - what kind of materials should we store in which facility. There was a little bit of elementary math around which shipping network was better. Super low key
please share the technical question level.LC??
Wayfair, LC ...kidding?
No LC at wayfair ?
Dont join please if you are not into politics
They do have just what you need, so that’s good.
