What are waymo options? Are they same as the "options" like the market option trading? If I am given waymo options with an underlying strike price, I need to pay that strike price (out of my pocket) to buy the underlying stock right (assuming waymo IPOs). Alternatively, Im guessing I can "trade" the options in a private market, but how/where do I evaluate the current price? Thanks.
You generally can't trade the option itself. You'd could exercise then sell the shares on the secondary.
"exercising" means that I need to put my own money (strike price x no of options x100) right?
I don't think are in units of 100 like a traditional options contract. I think its strike price * number of shares purchased
