Offers from Apple and niantic
Will apple compete niantic's offer? Any idea? I'm a new grad. Other Offer from Uber - 110/110/20 Apple - haven’t received numbers yet. Niantic - can’t share numbers coz I can probably be identified by them. Tc is way higher than Uber in all three areas. I loved interviewing at Uber but I do not want to start with that Tc in sf and also have to pay off a shitload of student loans. Alas, 4 years of college tuition lead to >120k of borrowed money which cannot be paid off by an Uber new grad salary.
What is niantic offering?

What did your friend finally choose ? Did apple compete Niantic’s offer ?
It’s a funny story. My friend chose Apple but left after a year because the work was boring. Niantic’s offer had an expiration date of a year, so he jumped ship to Niantic and he’s there now. I think Apple wouldn’t match Niantic. I don’t know the exact numbers but he told me Niantic offered a higher TC.
Without numbers it depends what you want. Big company with big RSU, refresher, promotions: Apple. Startup with smaller teams and more responsibility: Niantic
