Is WeWork good company to move to? Like how is the stability, tc, work culture? I know the company but haven't heard about the internals. WeWork folks, can you shed some light about your company, please?
A lot of chaos for sure. Comp is getting better for core engineering teams but the rest of the company is subpar
How is the work culture and job stability looks like?
Not a stable culture internally. Worked there for 2 years at HQ
It's a career suicide
Why is that?
I don't think it is a good choice

2x growth year on year and the company is struggling to keep up. Tech wise lots of immature or non-existent processes but the engineering team is growing a lot so things might get better in the future. Work culture in tech is pretty chill; a lot of times directions change from under your feet so you gotta be able to thrive in chaos. Team wide, generally good people that you can be friends with and that are passionate about the work they do. Compensation is on par with top tech but benefits are a joke — no 401k match, no commuter benefits, no lunches, no health expense reimbursement, 16 day PTO, etc.
Thank you!
They have mild commuter benefits and 15 days PTO? Also, breakfast and Monday dinners iirc Comp is competitive though.
