Wealthfront or Robinhood for HYSA

Have 75k sitting idle in my chase savings account. Want to invest the money in HYSA so that I can take it during emergency. Wealthfront and Robinhood GOLD are both giving 5% . Leaning towards RH gold because with RH gold you can also trade whenever required . Any inputs folks on which one is better? Of if there are avenues please let me know .#investments #personalfinance #money y

Money market fund at any broker. Fidelity, vanguard, schwab. All of them return close to 5% annualized yield

How is ML? Any body used that?

Is that guaranteed? Also how quickly can you access the fund?

I split mine up. You never know when there might be issues accessing money. So there's no point in putting all your eggs in one basket. Go read what happens when people get locked out of PayPal, Chime, Venmo, or other fintech. With a real bank, at least you can drive down there and yell at someone. Sending emails into the void isn't the same. Wealthfront uses Green Dot, which is sketch. But they sweep the cash into real banks every day, so that should be fine.

I have both. Both good. DM for Wealthfront referral. We both can get 0.5% more for 3 months.

It honestly depends on what you want to do. I would recommend WF if you are similar type of investor. Both are same but the WF app is much nicer to use, plus WF gives access to 529 and other trust plans. Since someone already shared a referral invite with you I wont bombard lol. One thing I do know is WF has more than 250k FDIC insured. Also check this comparison: https://www.fool.com/the-ascent/buying-stocks/wealthfront-vs-robinhood/#:~:text=Robinhood%20offers%20Roth%20and%20traditional,college%20savings%20account%20for%20children.

Does the rate keep changing or is it flexible?

Google fLnb48 Mar 30

It will change when Federal Reserve lowers or raises interest rate, but it hasn't changed for a long time now.
