What is your thoughts on weed stocks like TLRY or ETF like MSOS. Personally, I think the industry could turn it around. Is it time? TC 245k
Recent news of DEA agreeing cannabis should be rescheduled is very big and could signal future momentum. Critics of the cannabis industry claim the fundamentals are bad, but I'm not sure what they mean specifically. In my mind, with rescheduling and possibly banking reform it could be a profitable sector, but time will tell. Would be curious if others are considering these stocks and companies now that things are heating up in the industry.
They’re building a position is what it means. It’s the next cigarette stock. I bought a lot
I think there is an opportunity at least in the short term as rescheduling is made official into policy and law - also SAFE(R) Banking might go through at some point clearing another business hurdle for these companies. I briefly looked over some 10Qs for a couple of the bigger companies and have to admit the margins seem awfully thin (even taking out 280e tax deficits incurred). So I'm still not sure how good the industry is as a long term investment, and most likely only the biggest few companies will survive according to a lot of people, but it sure as hell has a lot of momentum and excitement building for the time being!
Weed stocks are bottoming it looks like. Finally at a level that makes sense for growth.
