I got an email from a Qualtrics recruiter saying they reviewed my application and were asking for my availability to do an initial phone interview. I didn't apply for the role, nor do I know how they got my contact info. The email had a link to calendly. When I clicked through, I got a privacy alert. I googled the recruiters name and it seemed legit from the profile on LinkedIn. The email (domain) also came from @qualtrics.com.
I responded and asked how they got my info, that the link seemed erroneous, and that I was curious about the whole approach. It's been a week since--no response. I guess I've been ghosted...what I don't understand is why? Makes for such a poor impression and you get almost nothing in return.
Anyone else have the same experience? Anyone from Qualtrics care to investigate?
