Well, no sh*t Sherlock.

How long can this go on? Either pay decreases causing a housing crisis or housing drives jobs out of the Bay Area. Which happens and when? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sfgate.com/business/amp/sf-tech-salary-hired-jobs-austin-seattle-la-12563500.php

SF tech salaries actually lower than most major U.S. cities, when adjusted for cost of living

Seattle is the highest. Seattle also has the highest rate of depression

Never. Bay Area would be full of renters who come here for high salaries . Landlord and current home owners will mint money from them.

Housing is already driving jobs out of the Bay Area. Seeing lots of jobs opening up from FANG in the middle of the country.

Yep Google is already starting to move many jobs to Colorado & Austin

Same for Facebook and Apple. Dallas is another popular one.

Local government loves job creation but hates construction of new homes. What else can happen when there aren’t enough homes for all the jobs?

Lots of people already headed to Austin and Seattle. So much that it's driving their housing prices up just as fast if not faster than the bay area. Surprised not many top tech settled in San Diego, opting for LA instead.
