Anyone have insight got an offer for 80k base no relocation being provided but I need to relocated. I have 3 yeo 1 as a SWE and 2 as PM at another bank. I feel this is extremely low as I was making 145k before taking a leave. #pm #product #productmanager
aim for 100k TC + if u want PM. the opportunities are there, for some reason Wells fargo always low balls
They’re cheap, they’re not looking for quality talent, just people to push paper & go thru the motions
This is absurdly low… don’t take it
No
Wow, that’s like entry level PM salary. I wouldn’t even consider that offer if you’re making 145k now.
Really low for 3 YOE in my opinion. You’re on the fence for a higher level @ Wells, but in this environment I think you should’ve slotted in above entry level. If you took it you should be able to move up and double that within a few years, so that’s always an option.
Aunt doubling that at Wells in three years. Would need three promos and won’t happen that fast.
Reject it
Reject it. That's it. It's low enough you don't counter. You just say no thanks, goodbye.
Are you still working btw? Wasn’t sure what you meant by taking leave. If you aren’t and have enough to keep you afloat keep interviewing. If not I’ll just take it as it looks good on your resume. Seems like PM with banking/finance experience are getting more preference.
Agreed where a counter is not even needed. Just reject it and hopefully recruiters and the company will realize this pay should be meant for someone with zero experience and straight out of college
Location? That might be good if you’re moving to Sweden or Thailand
Minneapolis
i think that is really low for PM even if ur non tech PM, 3 yr exp should not be that low. I was thinking 110-130TC is more suitable for PM at ur exp. If you make more as a SWE dont make the move till ur older
