Equinix Laptop Choice

I will be joining Equinix as a SWE intern this summer and was wondering what type of laptop I would get. Is it easy to request a switch between Mac and Windows and what does most of the company use?#engineering #software #swe

You will get a choice for what laptop you want if you are joining full time. I’m guessing it would be same for intern as well.

Definitely Macs. My entire SWE global team use MAC’s.

Till 2018 we were forced to use windows laptop(dell, lenovo), but later it was changed, now you get mac unless you explicitly request windows laptop
