What are FB/ Meta’s business pillars?

It’s commonly known that FB runs on ad-revenue, but what else is there? Compared to (F)AANG, FB is solely software based. Why don’t they expand into cloud services? What ever happened to their research projects like drone based internet in Africa or the digital currency lira? Why does FB offer a Market, a Payment System and a Messenger, but seemingly no one uses them by choice? Similarly, their other products like Instagram and WhatsApp are strong, but theres so much competition, like Snapchat, TikTok, ZOOM, Slack, Signal, etc. Metaverse is a joke. The only metaverse-ish thing about FB is the collection “meta” information in every single corner of the internet. Back to square one.. it’s a user data warehouse … seems conclusive… but literally every other company collects just as much information about their users. That’s not a distinguishing factor that’s just Internet-economics… I can’t find this company’s value, please help #Meta #economics #stability
