What are offer packages looking like for Uber now?
Looks like you guys are planning to IPO in 2019? What are offers looking like for SWE or analytics? Worth jumping ship to grab stock? IC4, current comp is ~225k.
Probably not. I doubt the ipo will give a huge bump in valuation.
Most of recent tech IPOs did worse than big techs like G, Microsoft (yes), FB and Amazon. I doubt Uber valuation does better than these unless they have a secret project that will change the existing tech scene (better be big). There is no promise on self driving which was huge factor so it could actually go down if this turns out to be losing game against Waymo, Tesla etc.

They gave me an offer for L4 at 142k base and 8000 RSUs.
